Will e-Delivery be integrated with mCitizen?
Yes - it's official. Planned amendment to the law on electronic deliveries envisages integration of the e-Delivery system with the mCitizen application. Thanks to this, it will be possible to receive official correspondence... without entering the gov.pl portal - a phone call will suffice.
When will it happen?
The draft amendment has entered the government's work plan, and is expected to be enacted in the Q3 2025. Once the law enters into force, integration will be launched in the mCitizen app - so, if all goes according to plan, e-Delivery on the phone will appear later in 2025.
What does this mean in practice?
Function | What this means for you |
Receiving e-Deliveries in mCitizen | Official correspondence (PURDE/QERDS) will go directly to the phone app. (observatory.biz) |
Easier access | Instead of logging in at gov.pl, all you need to do is confirm your identity in mCitizen (e.g. with your fingerprint). |
Push notifications | You know right away that a new shipment is waiting - no need to check the box. |
And how it is now
At this moment: no integration. If you want to check e-Delivery, you have to log in through the gov.pl portal or edoreczenia.gov.pl using a trusted profile. After the amendment comes into effect - this will change.
In conclusion ...
- YES, e-Delivery will go to the mCitizen app.
- Plan: Q3 2025., after the signing of the amendment.
- Once implemented - direct access to official correspondence on a smartphone, with push notifications and without unnecessary logins.
Why is it worth it?
- Convenience - One application instead of two portals.
- Speed - real-time notifications.
- Security - Confirming identity through mCitizen, rather than entering a login/password.
What is there to wait for?
- Follow the work on the amendment - in Q3 2025 something should move.
- From now on, it's a matter of technically implementing the integration in the application.
- Once it works - mCitizen will become a true "one app for everything".
This is good news - papers on the phone? As much as possible 👍
