Confirmations of sending and receipt are equivalent to the existing receipt you receive at the post office.

How does the e-Delivery box work?
The e-Delivery Box operates on the basis of a special ICT platform that enables:
- User authentication: Access is secured through a trusted profile, e-proof or qualified electronic signature.
- Shipping and receiving mail: The user can send and receive documents electronically. Communication with the public administration is carried out with its help according to the scheduled validity.
- Delivery Confirmation: The system generates electronic proofs of delivery that have the force of law equal to traditional receipts.
- Document archiving: All documents sent and received are stored securely for later retrieval.
Who should use the e-Delivery box?
- Entrepreneurs: Legal entities and JDGs registering companies as of January 1, 2025 must have an e-Delivery box right away. Companies previously registered in the KRS or CEIDG have until April 1, 2025.
- Public institutions: Public administration offices, ZUS, KRUS, NFZ, courts, prosecutors' offices, public trust professions and other organizational units that are obliged to have a box as early as January 1, 2025.
- Citizens: Individuals can use, but are not obligated to.
How to set up an e-Delivery box?
Currently, there are several entities that offer e-Delivery boxes, including Poczta Polska, Autenti and Certum.

Legal basis
The e-Delivery box was introduced under:
- Law of November 18, 2020 on electronic delivery, which regulates the rules of electronic communication in public administration.
- The eIDAS Regulation (EU No. 910/2014), which establishes a legal framework for trust and electronic identification services in the European Union.
